Originally from Japan, Rose Akane has studied abroad in the United States (graduating from the University of California’s Bachelor of Arts in International Studies) as well as in Canada (graduating from Vancouver Film School’s highly respected year long Makeup Design Program).
Fluent in multiple languages (Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, English), Rose is a global Special FX makeup artist and was chosen to be one of the finalists of "IMATS LA 2023 Battle of The Brushes."
She has lived and worked in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Singapore, Beijing and Vancouver.
Her background in BtoB (Business to Business) and BtoC (Business to Consumer) marketing gives her additional insight into the communication needs of clients, as well as within the film industry.
